I joined Ego in May 2016 when the Mitchells & Butlers pub I worked in was purchased and converted by Ego. I had previously thought that working in this industry was a stop-gap, whilst deciding what I wanted to do. However, since Ego took over my mind has been changed completely and I’m now very proud to be a Deputy Manager. Hospitality is my career and I’m working towards being a General Manager with Ego in the future.

The progression and opportunities that Ego has to offer are incredible. From opening exciting new restaurants to holding cocktail master classes to becoming a chef – the possibilities really are endless. One of the things I like best about working for Ego is you really feel like a valued member of any team you work with, whether it’s your own restaurant or covering at another site, everyone is very welcoming. Ego creates a fun environment to work in with people that want to be at work.
