I can't believe how much I have developed during my 2 year apprenticeship at Ego
I joined Ego as an apprentice in 2017. During my 2 years as an apprentice, not only have I developed my kitchen skills but I have grown in confidence as an individual. I am now fully capable on every section in the kitchen, with the exception of mains, which I am currently working on.
Learning on the job as I go along has been great. I have learnt all the practical skills you would expect from knife skills to using all the kitchen equipment and even running my own section in a busy service. But on top of that I have also been supported personally to help grow my confidence and become a better chef through understanding the importance of communication.
I can’t recommend the Ego apprentice scheme enough.SHARE
